The following Return Policy and Refund Policy govern returns, refunds, and exchanges for products purchased on www.desaigold.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Customers must initiate a return request within 24 hours of delivery of the product. The product must be dispatched back within 24 hours from the time of delivery, either in person or through a recognized courier service with appropriate insurance coverage.
All costs associated with return shipping, including courier and insurance charges, shall be borne entirely by the customer unless otherwise agreed by Desai Gold.
Upon receipt, the returned product will undergo a Quality Check (QC) process which may take 5 working days or more. Acceptance of the return is subject to successful completion of the QC and verification process.
Desai Gold reserves the right to accept or reject returns based on the outcome of the QC process. If the return does not meet the return conditions, it will be rejected and returned to the customer at the customer's expense.
Once the refund process has been initiated, refunds will be made according to the following terms:
Refunds shall be processed only after the returned product has been received and approved post QC. The product must be unused, undamaged and returned in original packaging with original tags, certificates and invoice. If the product fails QC, no refund will be processed.
Refunds will be processed only for the actual metal value of the product. All additional charges including but not limited to making charges, packaging, shipping, taxes, and any other applicable charges shall be non-refundable. The market rate of the metal applicable on the date of QC approval shall be considered for calculating the refund amount.
Where returns are accepted and approved by Desai Gold, refunds for online payments will be processed within 7–15 working days from the date of receipt and approval of the returned product at Desai Gold’s warehouse.
Refunds for COD orders shall be processed based on the customer’s preference, subject to the following:
Desai Gold shall not be responsible for delays or losses arising due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer. Desai Gold reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases of non-compliance with these conditions.
Products purchased from the Website may only be exchanged at Desai Gold stores, subject to the exchange policy and valuation terms as applicable. Please retain the original invoice and certificate of authenticity for any exchange.
If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact our customer care immediately with photographs and order details. Desai Gold will evaluate the claim and, if approved, will replace or refund the item as per the refund policy.
Please note that return, QC and refund processing timelines are indicative and may vary depending on logistics, inspection findings and banking/payment partner processing times.
