RETURN POLICY

Return Policy & Refunds

The following Return Policy and Refund Policy govern returns, refunds, and exchanges for products purchased on www.desaigold.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.


Return Window

Customers must initiate a return request within 24 hours of delivery of the product. The product must be dispatched back within 24 hours from the time of delivery, either in person or through a recognized courier service with appropriate insurance coverage.


Condition of Return

  • The product must be returned in its original condition, unused, and with all original packaging, certificates, invoices, and tags intact.
  • Products showing signs of wear, damage, alteration, or missing certificates may be rejected.
  • Any jewellery with stone replacements, alterations, or tampering may not be accepted.

Return Shipping Charges

All costs associated with return shipping, including courier and insurance charges, shall be borne entirely by the customer unless otherwise agreed by Desai Gold.


Quality Check (QC)

Upon receipt, the returned product will undergo a Quality Check (QC) process which may take 5 working days or more. Acceptance of the return is subject to successful completion of the QC and verification process.


Approval & Rejection of Returns

Desai Gold reserves the right to accept or reject returns based on the outcome of the QC process. If the return does not meet the return conditions, it will be rejected and returned to the customer at the customer's expense.


Refund Policy

Once the refund process has been initiated, refunds will be made according to the following terms:

Refund Eligibility & Approval

Refunds shall be processed only after the returned product has been received and approved post QC. The product must be unused, undamaged and returned in original packaging with original tags, certificates and invoice. If the product fails QC, no refund will be processed.

Refund Amount Calculation

Refunds will be processed only for the actual metal value of the product. All additional charges including but not limited to making charges, packaging, shipping, taxes, and any other applicable charges shall be non-refundable. The market rate of the metal applicable on the date of QC approval shall be considered for calculating the refund amount.

Domestic Orders (within India)

Where returns are accepted and approved by Desai Gold, refunds for online payments will be processed within 7–15 working days from the date of receipt and approval of the returned product at Desai Gold’s warehouse.

Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

Refunds for COD orders shall be processed based on the customer’s preference, subject to the following:

  • Online Transfer (NEFT): If a cancelled cheque is provided along with the returned product, the refund will be processed via NEFT within 7–15 working days of QC approval.
  • Cheque Refund: If no cancelled cheque is provided, the refund will be issued via cheque and sent through courier to the address provided at the time of placing the order. This process may take up to 30 working days.

Desai Gold shall not be responsible for delays or losses arising due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer. Desai Gold reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases of non-compliance with these conditions.


Exchanges & Store Policies

Products purchased from the Website may only be exchanged at Desai Gold stores, subject to the exchange policy and valuation terms as applicable. Please retain the original invoice and certificate of authenticity for any exchange.


Return of Incorrect or Damaged Items

If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact our customer care immediately with photographs and order details. Desai Gold will evaluate the claim and, if approved, will replace or refund the item as per the refund policy.


Timeframes & Limitations

Please note that return, QC and refund processing timelines are indicative and may vary depending on logistics, inspection findings and banking/payment partner processing times.
